Free Yard and Green Waste Disposal Day
for Tamalpais Valley Residents Saturday, April 10, 2010
Hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Location: Tam Valley Community Center
203 Marin Avenue Clean up the green waste around your house and in your yard and bring it to us for recycling. Dispose of that "organic material" you've been meaning to get rid of - those logs under the deck (cut to 3 feet in length and no larger than 3 inches in diameter), the piles of twigs and branches, etc.
Make your house and yard more fire safe and help in the creation of compost for you and your neighbors. To participate, you must have proof of Tam Valley Residency. You may make multiple drop-offs. TCSD employees and volunteers will help you unload your vehicle and transfer your debris into various bins and trucks - recycling as much material as possible. RESTRICTIONS: PLEASE NO:
Items over 6 feet in length.
Loads over 3/4 ton trucks in bed size.
Trailers or rental trucks.
Cement, rocks, or dirt.
Hazardous waste materials. Please use the Tamalpais Valley Community Center driveway at 203 Marin Avenue to enter the unloading area. One-way traffic will pass through the Community Center parking lot and proceed through the refuse yard to empty vehicles. Exit will then be onto Bell Lane.
