Camp director: William Higgins Beginner to Advanced Beginner Grades 1-2 Wednesdays 2:15 to 3:00 $144 for 8 week program 1-to-5 teacher-to-student ratio Class emphasizes developing basic strokes, athletic coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and building self esteem. Children play fun games like Animal Tennis, Feed the Monkeys, & Skyball! Beginner to Advanced Beginner Grades 3-5 & 6-8 Wednesdays 3:00 to 4:30 $288 for 8 week program 1-to-6 teacher-to-student ratio
Class emphasizes developing basic strokes, athletic coordination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and building self esteem. Players will play modified team matches using low compression balls. Games featured are Team Tennis, Lobster, & Skyball.
The Medals Program: In our program, children earn medals by demonstrating certain stroke and playing skills. Just like belts in Karate, every time a child earns a Medal it builds their confidence and self-esteem.
All clinics run by Higgins Tennis professionals. Higgins Tennis' programs feature low student-to-teacher ratios, a goal-oriented curriculum and a games-based approach to player development. William Higgins has taught thousands of children and trained countless pros all over California. He ran the largest junior tennis facility in the world, the Barnes Junior Tennis Center in San Diego, was the Head Pro at the Harbor Bay Club in Alameda, and the Junior Tennis Coordinator at the Belvedere Tennis Club. He currently runs all the tennis programs for the Belvedere-Tiburon Joint Recreation Department.
