FREE DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING DAY FOR TAMALPAIS VALLEY RESIDENTS

Come one, come all ... bring us your unwanted and your reusable material.  Clean out your garage and storage areas --- dispose of your unwanted household items, general waste (yard chairs etc.), appliances, furniture, scrap iron, computers and TV's.

On this day only, we are providing Tam Valley's unique recycling program to augment our standard Debris Day service - where we accept all of your non-hazardous and non-yard waste.

When loading your vehicle, please segregate metals, scrap wood, and paper products so we can recycle those items easily.  TCSD employees and volunteers will help you unload your vehicles and transfer your debris into various bins and trucks, recycling as much material as possible. 

To participate, you must have proof of Tam Valley Residency.  You may make multiple drop-offs.

LOCATION:  Please use the Tamalpais Community Center driveway at 203 Marin Avenue to enter the unloading area. One-way traffic will pass through the Community Center driveway and proceed through the refuse yard to empty vehicles, and exit onto Bell Lane.

PLEASE:
NO:  Items over 6ft, loads over 3/4 ton trucks in bed size, trailers or U-hauls, cement, rock or dirt.   
NO:  Hazardous waste.  It will not be accepted (e.g.: car batteries, paint oil, pesticides).   The hazardous waste facility is Marin Resource Recovery Center, 565 Jacoby Street, San Rafael (415) 485-5646.
NO:  Yard or green waste (these materials are collected on separate dates)
