One of the best-kept secrets in the TCSD Park system is the nearly one-mile trail owned and maintained by TCSD just off Tennessee Valley Road across from GGNRA's Oakwood area. 

With donations from an active users' group, the trail this year was restored, cleared of trees that had blocked the trail and huge quantities of poison oak tha were cut back.  This single track (no bikes allowed) is a great outing and connects into the Miwok trail near the parking lot for Tennessee Beach.  Check it out and see the amazing array of native plants that live along that corridor.
